OVERVIEW

Air-Tech Environmental, LLC was founded in 1996 on the premise that quality air emissions testing could be provided to the environmental community at a reasonable cost.  Towards achieving this end, an experienced senior staff has been assembled at Air-Tech that consists of engineers and scientists who each have over 20 years of individual environmental testing experience.  Drawing on their experiences, Air-Tech specializes in providing cost effective solutions to source evaluation problems.  Our offices are located in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina area, just minutes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (US EPA) Regional Headquarters.

Our staff works closely with US EPA experts to remain up-to-date on current methodologies and to provide technical input for improvements to many existing methods that are found in the US EPA Emission Measurement Center list of test methods.  

Air-Tech staff members have played a major role in the ongoing development of "Qualification" and "Accreditation" procedures for source testing companies and individuals by working with the ASTM Committee WK264 "Practice for Competence of Air Emission Testing Bodies" and with the Source Evaluation Society (SES) Qualification Committee.

CLIENT BASE

Our client base includes such industries as petroleum refining, electric power turbine manufacturers, chemical manufacturers, the automotive industry, university research facilities and the government.  While most of our work is within the continental United States, we have performed testing in several continents including North and South America, Europe and Africa and in such countries as Saudi Arabia, Russia, Korea and Spain.
